Loughton-based young talent Caren is set to take the stage at the prestigious Royal Opera House as part of the Children’s Chorus in the upcoming production of Carmen. At just 12 years old, Caren’s achievement is a moment of immense pride for her family, school, and the Malayalee community.

Caren is a member of the Royal Opera House – Youth Opera Company and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain. Caren has also showcased her musical talents at prestigious events such as the Chelmsford Music Festival and the Stratford and East London Music Festival, where she has won various prizes.
Her school, Bancroft’s School, shared the exciting news, stating: “We’re delighted to share that Caren will be performing as part of the Children’s Chorus in the upcoming production of Carmen at the Royal Opera House. A truly wonderful opportunity—congratulations, Caren!”
